    Great point of view for this shot. I’ve hiked on that trail (and climbed Rainier a number of times) and seen a lot of photography of it, yours is most excellent.

      Thanks @rwanderman! It’s a beautiful place, so hard to not get something good. The challenge with this shot was the extreme dynamic range — with shadow on the falls and the very bright glaciers. I used a 3 stop graduated neutral density filter to help, and then further reduced shadows foreground shadows in Lightroom.

      Oh, there was one other minor complication – the line of people waiting their turn to get a shot from this angle! A very busy day!
