The Hamlet

The roads and landscaping here were put in about the middle of the last decade for a neighborhood, called “The Hamlet”, that was never built.  Roads are paved and home sites plotted for the entire neighborhood.  It’s like a ghost town without the buildings.  To their credit, the building company has kept the landscaping up, and recently has begun building again at the far edge.  Maybe in several more years it will be a fully built and occupied neighborhood?  Nikon D800, Tokina 100mm, f/18, 1/250 sec, ISO 200, EV -2.0.

  1. For a ghost town, it looks rather peaceful :)

  2. That’s nice of the development company to keep with the maintenance.

    • It is – they still hope to sell these lots, so would’ve been tough on them if they didn’t.
